RICHARD MEIER ON PROSPECT PARK

1 Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn, New York

Completed in 2011:  New construction, 15 story, 96 unit luxury condominium with below grade parking.

This project was the first modern multifamily luxury residence in the Park Slope neighborhood.
Built on the site of a former parking lot for the Union Temple, the final development designed by the iconic architect Richard Meier created distinctive luxury apartments with generous amenity spaces including lounges/meeting rooms and a children's play room, and 2 levels of underground parking spaces.  Also, additional spaces.

for the Temple and the Eastern Athletic Club were provided.

Quickly becoming Brooklyn’s most sought-after luxury residences, Richard Meier's On Prospect Park is the first Brooklyn project by Richard Meier. Located at One Grand Army Plaza and overlooking the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Memorial Arch, On Prospect Park affords its occupants breath-taking views of a classic Brooklyn neighborhood and access to a vibrant cultural district – just steps away from the Brooklyn Public Library, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and an entrance to Prospect Park.
